Mioro Security Personnel Conduct Policy and Procedure

Aim
This policy sets standards for the conduct of security personnel working at Mioro. It has been prepared to ensure that security personnel work in a manner that respects human rights, to draw the boundaries of security activities, to define appropriate procedures for the management of security problems and conflicts, and to indicate the consequences of human rights violations.
Policy: Conduct of Security Personnel
Respect for Human Rights
- Security personnel will comply with international human rights standards and legal regulations in Turkey while performing their duties.
- Will not discriminate in any way, will not resort to physical or psychological violence, and will not violate the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals.
- Security personnel are expected to display a respectful, fair and professional attitude towards all individuals.
Limits of Security Activities
- Security personnel will act only within the scope of their job descriptions and within the limits set by the company.
- Excessive use of force should be avoided during security activities and intervention should be made only when necessary and within legal limits.
- Personnel will act in accordance with the company’s security policies and avoid unnecessary interventions.
Management of Security Issues
- All security issues and conflicts must be handled in accordance with established procedures.
- In conflict situations, security personnel will give priority to finding solutions through peaceful means.
- In critical situations, the incident will be reported and directed to the necessary support units.
Consequences of Human Rights Violations
- Any violation of human rights will be evaluated within the scope of Mioro’s zero tolerance policy.
- Evidence of violations will be collected and the incidents will be examined in detail. 3. Disciplinary penalties will be imposed on personnel who are found to have violated human rights; When necessary, dismissal, termination of employment or legal processes will be initiated.
Procedure: Implementation of Policy
- Policy Education
- All security personnel will be trained on human rights, security activities and Mioro’s conduct policy.
- Training programs will be renewed annually and participation will be mandatory.
- Participation records and evaluation results will be kept after the training.
- Performance Monitoring
- Regular audits will be conducted to monitor the behavior of security personnel in accordance with policies.
- The following criteria will be taken into account during performance evaluation:
- Compliance with human rights.
- Conflict management skills.
- Adherence to security procedures.
- Monitoring results will be reported to management.
- Complaint and Report Mechanism
- Employees and other individuals will have access to a secure complaints mechanism to report inappropriate behavior or human rights violations by security personnel.

- Complaints will be treated confidentially and examined in detail.
- Discipline and Investigation
- When a notice or complaint is received, an investigation team will be formed to investigate the incident in detail.
- As part of the investigation, witness statements, crime scene reports and other evidence will be collected.
- If human rights violations or non-policy behavior is detected, the following sanctions will be applied:
- Warning or warning.
- Temporary suspension from duty.
- Termination of employment contract. – Initiating legal processes.
- Regular Policy Review
- The effectiveness of the security personnel conduct policy will be reviewed and updated annually.
- Updates will be made to comply with national and international legal regulations.
