Policy: Mioro’s Commitment to Community Development

Mioro is committed to promoting economic and social progress in the communities in which it operates. Through active participation, collaboration with stakeholders and strategic initiatives, we aim to both create a lasting impact on communities and strengthen our ties with society. Our community development policy reflects our values of inclusion, sustainability and shared growth.

**Policy Objectives:**

  1. Supporting initiatives that promote economic and social development in local communities.
  2. Collaborate with charities, NGOs and community organizations that align with Mioro’s values.
  3. To empower disadvantaged and vulnerable groups by responding to their special needs.
  4. Strengthening employees’ commitment by increasing their active participation in community programs.
  5. To ensure transparency and accountability in all social development efforts.

**Scope:**

This policy covers Mioro employees, subcontractors, business partners and all stakeholders involved in social development activities.

**Basic Principles:**

  • * *Inclusion•** Providing equal opportunities for all community members, especially disadvantaged and vulnerable groups.
  • * *Sustainability:** Aiming for long-term impact and self-sufficiency in the communities we support.
  • * *Collaboration:** Partnering with local organisations, charities and stakeholders on impactful initiatives.
  • * *Transparency:** Providing clear documentation and communication about all initiatives.

 

Procedure: Implementation of Community Development Initiatives

Step 1: Determining Purpose and Partners

  • * *Purpose Selection:**
  • Identifying relevant social issues by holding meetings or conducting surveys with employees and stakeholders.
  • Prioritizing areas such as education, health and sustainability that are compatible with

Mioro’s values.

  • * *Determining Partners:**
  • Evaluating potential partners (NGOs, charities or local organizations) that demonstrate alignment with our objectives and proven impact.
  • Formalize partnerships by creating agreements that specify roles and responsibilities.

Step 2: Stakeholder Mapping and Planning

  • * *Stakeholder Mapping:**
  • Identify key stakeholders in communities affected by or interested in Mioro’s activities.
  • Ensuring the inclusion of disadvantaged groups or individuals who are underrepresented in larger community groups.
  • * *Planning:
  • Defining clear goals, timelines and resources for each initiative.
  • Developing action plans detailing the steps necessary to achieve the desired results.

Step 3: Contribution and Application

Mioro offers several methods to support community development:

  • Allocating a budget for donations or project financing.
  • * *Employee Participation:**
  • Encouraging employees to donate their time and expertise to community projects.
  • * *Product or Service Support:**
  • Donating Mioro products or services that directly meet local needs. – * *Event Organization:**
  • Organizing events that encourage social participation, such as workshops, training programs or community fairs.
  • * *Marketing Support:**
  • Using Mioro’s marketing platforms to promote community initiatives and increase impact.

Step 4: Documentation and Reporting

  • Keeping detailed records of all community development activities:
  • Policies and procedures for each initiative.
  • Internal and external communication records.
  • Financial reports for financial contributions.
  • Action plans and progress reports.
  • Photos, videos and testimonials showing the impact of the initiatives.
  • Publishing annual social development reports to share results with stakeholders.

Step 5: Monitoring and Evaluation

  • * *Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):**
  • Tracking metrics such as number of beneficiaries, funds used and project results. – * *Feedback Mechanism:**
  • Gathering feedback from community members, employees and partners to improve future initiatives.

Step 6: Communication and Awareness Raising

  • To announce social development initiatives through the following channels:

Management

– Supervision of social development activities is carried out by **Mioro Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee* * and senior management.

-The committee meets quarterly to evaluate progress and approve new initiatives.
